The GK1250 series ANSI electric rim strike is surface mounted and designed for use with strength and durability for use with rim exit devices with a 3/4” (19mm) throw Pullman latchbolt. It features a latch monitor, and has a 3/4” (19mm) thick metal housing. No cutting on the frame is required for installation.

Preload
The GK1250 is designed with its high preload release capability that allows smooth operation even under varying loads on the door, such as air-conditioning pressure, changes in the weather, warped doors or doors with weather stripping.

Field Selectable for Fail-safe or Fail-secure
The GK1270 is field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation, or for 12 or 24VDC.
